ABSTRACT:

With the mega trends such as urbanization, growing population, climate change, the demands for better transportation systems and services globally are rising. Thanks to the advanced development of digital and platform technologies, digitalization plays an increasingly important role in shaping the future of mobility industry, which is experiencing a paradigm shift.

In the process of digital transformation, a key question is not only about the technology itself, but also about people. To shape the future of mobility, how we can enable and empower different groups of people in the meantime? How can we build a more people-friendly, seamless, shared, reliable and sustainable transportation ecosystem that takes cares the first mile and the last?

As the CEO of Siemens Mobility Hong Kong, Mr. Brauner will share the latest industry trends and experience as well as smart mobility applications globally and locally from a people perspective.

Peter is an expert in the transportation sector for 30 years. He has degrees in electrical engineering and economic psychology, because for him, technology and people belong together, especially when it comes to digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence.

By living and working throughout Europe, America and Asia, he became passionate about diversity and leveraging cultural synergies for the development of disruptive innovations.

As the CEO of Siemens Mobility in Hong Kong, he is working with his team and local partners to turn Hong Kong into a smart city.
